TET Exam Fees Details

Each year, innumerable applicants appear for TET or ‘teacher eligibility test’. In Tamil Nadu, over and above the B. Ed examinations, these have been made compulsory to be able to teach primary and upper primary children in both Government run schools and private ones. For the procurement of the application form, the same can be gathered through the District Educational Officers. In order to obtain the application form, the student has to pay a sum of Rs 50 and that too in cash. This cash is against the cost of the application form and the prospectus which has all the relevant information about the tests and all its significant details.

The course fees for TN-TET Exam paper 1 and paper 2 differ between classroom and postal classes, fees are charged including taxes of course. Armed and equipped with the degree, the aspirants hope to take up the posts of teachers in primary classes which are essentially for classes 1-5. The passed individuals are also eligible for upper primary schools that are classes 6-8 for the schools of the state of Tamil Nadu. The examinations are conducted by the Teachers Recruitment Board or TRB. TET has been made compulsory for all for teachers hoping to apply in both Government run schools and also the private ones.

The application of the same can be done online very easily with the help of relevant websites that give out mandatory information. However, it is important that people follow the guidelines well and make note of all the details regarding admissions and other formalities.

For the correct submission of the examination fees

In order to successfully prepare and finally appear for the exam, it is important that the examination fee of Rs. 500 be paid. However, for the special category of SC/ST or Differently Able Candidates, a sum of 250 rupees is expected. For the successful deposition of the examination fees, the candidate needs to make it to any branch of the State Bank of India along with the prescribed challan which can be found attached with the Prospectus. Make note that this is the only form of payment accepted by the authorities; no other way of paying for the examination fees will be valid for this examination. It is important that while making the payment of the fees through the procedure of challan, the candidate should make sure that he has filled in all the relevant details very carefully and correctly. The TRB copy of the Challan is then required to be sent along with the application form. Additional care needs to be taken that the same should not be stapled or tied with it.
